wyoming has 480,000 antelope. more than all the other states put together. you want a flat shooting rifle, 243 or larger. 25-06 is perfect. BUT,, you need more than a flat shooting rifle. you need good binoc's and a spotting scope. once you spote the goats from a long ways off, stalk them from out of site. get close. don't plan on a long shot, plan on a good stalk. for archery, shoot over a water hole. good luck!
