Basically any load that will work on a whitetail should do fine on the species you listed. Good Luck.

If you went with a nosler partition or a premium style bullet like the fail safe you should have less tissue damage then if you used a ballistic tip which would blow BIG holes on exit. Also, the heavier the bullet in 7mm, the less likely you are to get blow up. Say along the lines of 160-175 grains as opposed to teh 140s & 150s available in 7mm.

While all the weight ranges will work fine with what you are after......the lighter, faster, lightly constructed bullets will give you much more tissue damage. Exactly what you do not want. But I'd bet hey would put those bucks down like lightning LOL

I would agree with the heavier bullets, however, I have had problems with the 7mm Mag destroying a lot of meat. That is why I got rid of it!

I am using my 270, 308 and 30-06 and haven't had any problem with any of them! The animals are very dead when I get done with them!

    What he said.......yep.

As far as preserving the animal for a shoulder mount.......as long as the shot placement is behind the shoulder where it's supposed to be ........there will be no problem.

All of those species are light and thin skinned animals. I have taken several axis and texas dall's with the 140 gr nosler bullets from my 7mm wby mag. I have 3 of them mounted. Even if there is a hole, any taxidermist worth his salt can fix that. Good luck.
