Was coming home an from an unsuccessfull bear hunt and saw this out of the corner of my eye. Guess he didn't want a rug.

I guess not either huh. Too bad. I eat my bears, but the mounts are what do it for me the most.

Other than the hunter not cleaning up their mess, whats the big deal? Some guys get bears every year and hunt them for meat. So they did not want the head.

I wasn't trying to start anything, or make a statement of some sort.

We saw this while coming home empty handed one day. And thought it made for a good picture.

Kind of the same way a deer hunter feels when he gets skunked, only to have a huge buck standing in the middle of his hunting area the day after season ends.

Yup.. That don't look too good. I hope the person who left this was on the way back to clean it up...I wish I had that head for my son to boil out. It would make a neat addition to my "Man" room...
