A guy I know was driving some back roads and discovered this moose. What a way to go. It got tangled in the chains that hold the swings on. Sad. The wardens said it just died before he got there.

That is sad, looks like he would go at least 46". SInce it was fresh i hope they salvaged the meat, a lot of good eating there.
thats a cry'n shame! As has been said, I sure hope they harvested the meat, would be an even bigger shame if the meat were wasted.

Man that was a nice moose too! What a way to die. I hope they salvaged him. He would be a really nice mount.
