This was one interesting deer hunt and one more great hunting story to pass along.
I started the morning late because I had to drop Diana off at work at 7:00am. I didn't get home, change and get out to Chester's property until around 8:00am.
I did see a nice black-bear on the way into the property, out off the main road on the native land. I hunt just in behind that land. The pictures turned out terrible, because I should have turned off the truck to stop all the vibration...but oh ...

Well, the 2009 hunting season is fast approaching, and I guess it's time I learned how to use this Blog thingy.

Meet Wheeler. We took pictures of this guy at our deer feeder in Dec, January and Feb. He lost his headrack early, about the middle of January. Diana found his right side about 1/2 mile North of our house in an empty lot by the graveyard, while we were shed hunting in late Jan/early Feb.
We went back there a few times looking for the other side, but no such luck.
