Well, my good friend from down south smoked a giant 8 this season. Scored 185 1/2. With a little kicker off the back left side. So that's one freakin hog of an 8. I'll see if I can get a picture on here. All for now.

Outwitted may be an understatement. I was down right dumbfounded. Well, another year of elk hunting is done and it was a another great year! We had the most family in camp this year with twenty and my brother and I got the boot from the warmth of the campers to the frigidness of the tent.lol I didn't get an elk this year, but my nephew did and it was his first year hunting! We were all very excited for him. He shot a nice big cow elk and boy was he excited when he told the story to us of how he shot it. One shot and down!

Hey everyone. I hope things are going good for you. I've been pretty busy lately so haven't been on too much, but still try to check out what is going on in the forums and with everyone else. Man, the summer sure is going fast. Just this past May my wife and I moved back home so we are excited to be back in Montana. Hunting season cannot come soon enough however. I am already starting to get buck fever when I see all the deer and bucks in velvet.
