Well I finally got the protec all setup for competition. I bought a sureloc lethal weapon 4 pin sight yesterday at gander mountain. I mounted it and spent quite awhile getting it dialed in. I shot my first 5 spot with it and shot a 291-34X. I don't think this was to bad for my very first 5 spot.

Now I have to get the 30, 40, and 50 yard pins dialed in and ready to go for 3D. My first tournament is next weekend at Blue Ridge. I'm going to shoot bowhunter class.

Well, a few days ago I was fighting feeling like crap, and a slew of bad things taking place. Not everything is perfect and I know it will never be. But it is really amazing how a little walk in the woods can make you forget stuff and look on the bright side of things. I took a 2 hour walk with my son Joe in the woods behind the house shed hunting. We didn't find any, but just walking the woods with Joe, playing with a few deer that we kicked up, by me blowing at them and making them freeze was ...

Gotta be up around 3am to get ready ,drive to the airport for 6am flight. Then get to hotel by 1030am for set up. Just found out that Lee and Tiffany are going to be wih us the whole weekend!!

Just finished a double shift at the prison. Worked it to get thursday off to go to Nashville. Have to go in tommorow morning for day shift This I how I get time off for my shows pretty neat deal work my shift and then someone elses and they pay me back when I have shows. This way i save vacation time for chasing whitetails or gobblers! Well 6 more emails to answer and off to bed for 4-1/2 hrs
