I just got back from a week long trip of canoeing, camping, fishing, and hiking on the Greenbrier River in Wild & Wonderful WV. This trip originally was going to be in Northwest Ontario, but plans changed and I'm glad they did.
Four of us total went out and we had a great time. We packed in plenty of good food and just enjoyed it. We ended up covering 63 miles of the Greenbrier over the course of a week and enjoyed some of the most beautiful scenery and best fishing along the way.
On Tuesday the fishing was just unbelievable and we slayed the smallmouth bass. Spending a week out and about like this really was good for us all.
This river is so beautiful, every bend greeted us with another amazing view. On the sunny days the honeysuckle and rhododendrons filled the air with the sweet smells and we really felt spoiled.
We saw one Bald Eagle one afternoon and plenty of other wildlife.
