I bowhunted on Friday and had a great day, but never connected. Saturday, Fall Turkey Season opened for select counties so I decided to leave the bow at home and take the shotgun out to break the monotony.

The morning started out with the temperature at the farm saying 29 degrees and a heavy frost. As I drove in to the farm, I saw a shooting star shoot across the sky. From bowhunting, I knew where the birds were roosting, so I got in there before daylight and was waiting on ...

I started my Saturday morning early and out in the fog. I had plans of hitting a few back roads in each of WV, OH, & KY, but first I had to run a few errands. So, I geared up and headed out on my WR250R.

My first part of the trip was too much city and not enough country, but I did get some errands taken care of and managed to stop a few times in town for a picture here ...

This weekend I had plans of packing a lunch and plenty of cold water and gatorade in the cooler and hitting the farm hard for a day of trail riding and enjoyment. While I did get to do this, I also managed to get some work done, so that was even better.
For starters, I took my Yamaha WR250F over right after daybreak and really
enjoyed riding in the fields in the cool air as the fog and dew burnt off.

Rem 700 SPS-V .308
I recently swapped the factory stock on my Remington 700 SPS-Varmint (chambered in .308) with a Hogue Over-molded stock. The swap was simple enough and today I made it out to he range for a bit to see how I liked the change.
First off, I really like the looks of the new stock.
