Default Sims vibration labs recoil pad for muzzleloaders?

Has anyone used one of these on a muzzleloader? I have the basic knight wolverine muzzleloader and it doesn't have any recoil pad on it whatsoever. It looks like its going to be 60-70 degrees next week at the start of muzzleloader so I know I won't get any protection from my clothing. Let me know if you or anyone you know has used the SVL recoil pads on their muzzleloaders and how they liked them. Thanks, Greg

I just added one to my Omega. Huge improvement.

I put on my synthetic stocked Encore. It made an incredible difference in felt recoil. I think it was money well spent. I bought mine off of ebay cheaper than I could in any of the catalogs.

It would act the same way it does on any gun its installed. They will reduce the punch of the felt recoil. I have used Decelerator and Kick-Eez pads on ML with good results. I would expect the same from the SVL pad.

Your muzzel loader kicks? I've never noticed recoil on mine at all. I can't realy imagine needing one.

I emailed them a little bit ago to see what pad is best for my gun. I don't really notice the recoil in hunting situations, it would mostly be for times when I change loads or scopes or something where I may have to shoot it more than a few times. I seriously doubt I'll have it in time for season but who knows. Good luck all. Greg
