I have three options. Buy a Knight Magnum Disc black synthetic with stainless barrel for $300 and then get $50 rebate. CVA Optima 209 in black synthetic and blued for $170. Or just stick with my Traditions Tracker 209.
The Traditions is OK except that cleaning is a major pain, but I already own it. The CVA looks easy to clean, can be shot right or left hand, good price but not as cheap as just keeping what I have. The Knight is stainless, don't know about how easy to clean, but is the most expensive option.
I'll just stick with what I have but this rifle just sucks to clean. It's like they designed it to be difficult.

You want easy to clean? Get a Savage and shoot smokeless powder. Does not get any easier. Just like shooting a centerfire rifle.

Maybe I was messing up on the "slightly depressing" part. I was probably pulling too hard. That was the part that was frustrating me so much. The tool to loosen the nipple and breech plug has to go past the trigger too and it didn't want to go through either.
Probably a good thing to just save the money. Christmas is coming soon.
