Good ol hand cast, .530 round ball with 10 thousandths linen patch!![]()
I shoot .50 cal. 295 grain hollow point Powerbelts. Haven't used them on game yet, butthey shoot great.
T/C shockwaves in my Omega, 260 gr Winchester Platinum tips in my Disc Extreme, 295 gr powerbelts in my wife's Wolverine, and a .530 roundball in my GPR with a .018 T/C pillow ticking patch.
300 gr xtp mags in my Knight 50 cal. disc. Pretty pleased the the holes in the paper and the two deer I have shot using these bullets.
Depends on the gun.
Remington 700 ML = Precision Rifle QT40 235 gr
Savage 10ML II = Hornady SST 250 gr in MMP sabot
Knight Disc Elite = Not sure yet. Will shoot this week. Its either Powerbelts or PR QT40.
iam back shooting my powerbelts. i shot the shockwaves or sst's and my better groups came from the one i started out with and am back to shooting my powerbelts. i know what they are going to do ao if it ain't broke i am not changin it. i learned that pretty quick. shooting 1 inch groups at a 100 with the first two touching so that is very acceptable to me and well worth my confidence factor

In my Knight MK-85, I shoot saboted .452" Hornady XTP's 250 grainers. In my T/C Black Diamond, which I havent taken hunting yet, I've received acceptable accuracy with 245 grain HP Powerbelts & "777" powder.
T/C Maxi-Balls....work great for me.
In my Rem. 700 50. cal I shoot Hornady XTP MAG bullets with sabots.
Shooting 240 grain tc xtp mags.
I use a Nosler Handgun .44 caliber bullet!!!! Then i use a .429 sabot to make it .50 cal! They are 250 grains!!! Its a custom load!!! Seems to work best for me when my gun is shooting good!!! I think i got it firgured out!! I bought some new powder andseems to be doing much better!
For me it's the 295 powerbelt HP with 100 gr 777 pellets. I get 1.5-2" groups at 100 yards. Plus these bullets do quite a job on deer sized game.

My Encore 209 x 50 shoots Barnes 250 Expanders.
Hornady SST/ Thompson Shockwave 300 Gr in my Omega. I love this bullet though it's a pain to seat.
I shoot .50 cal. 348 gr. Powerbelts. Used to use T/C Maxiballs but switched to these. I like the big bullet for more knockdown power at close range. I would use a smaller one like a 295 if you plan on shooting over 100 yards.
