Are you happy with it? Does it fit your uses? I know a couple of guys that have a CVA model and all they use it for is hunting. They seem satisfied and would rather spend their $$ on bow equipment

I have a cva 50cal sidelock bobcat.... i nailed a doe at 60 yds with it this past saturday, open sights, no scope, This is the 2nd year using it and i love it,,,, easy to clean, the 1st year i had some minor problems, cleaning the nipple after every shot, but that was my own fault, being the 1st year ML and having no one to show me the ropes, but now after practicing and practicing and practicing, i really like it, we all know there are better models out there, but for a 1st ml gun to own and within my budget at that time, its a great little gun...

5 point, I bought a CVA sidelock a couple years back, the gun never did work.It wouldnt go off 3/4 of the time.After asking around in here, and checking the gun out myself I noticed the hammer wasnt aligned right.I emailed and called CVA for the better part of a year about it.They ran me around, didnt reply to my emails, and kept promising to have someone call me back.Season was getting close again so I said **** with it and bought a new Knight.

When you buy a new gun your paying for more than the gun, the company should stand behind thier product, in my opinion CVA fails miserably on this part.What goods a gun weather its 200$ or 500$ if it doesnt go off and they aint willing to fix it?

A friend of mine has a Knight on the other hand.Its one of their first inlnes they came out with.A couple years ago he forgot to grease his breach plug and it siezed up in the gun.he contacted Knight, sent the barrel, and fixed it, all it cost him was shipping.This was a an old gun at that point and they really didnt havre to fix it, escpecially for free.I paid about 70$ moree for my Knight and have no worries about getting it fixed if something were to go wrong.Accuracy is great but doesnt mean much after the parts break and the gun wont go off, for 200$ CVA isnt putting top of the line parts in those guns.Just my opinion.
