The SS barrell will be easier to take care of. I've allways had great luck with it.

Stainless is just a tad bit easier to clean thast it. Both the same for accuracy.
I personally liked a stainless over a blued on a ML due to the excess of spent power once its fired vs a cased shell rifle but...
For what its worth my Encore 209x50 15" pistol is blued and its cleans really nice.

That's kind of what I thought. I have some old guns with a blued barrel and they are fine to clean too. I've even got an old Remington 22 with a nickle plated barrel. My all time favorite gun. Had it 36 years and it still looks great.

I was just thinking if stainless was for people that neglect cleaning somewhat i have never had a problem with blued firearms. But on the omega there is a 100.00 difference between the blued and stainless was not sure if it was worth that or not. wasp

Both of my muzzleoaders are ss barrel. They are just as good as a blued barrel and definately a lot easier to maintain because ss barrels do not rust near as easy as the blued ones. Just be sure to use bore butter to lube and season. And if anyone is interested I do have one of them for sale.

Don't think that ss won't rust, cause it will
I like blued and thats all I have right now. I haven't had any rust on any of my guns ever. It doesn't take much work to keep them clean, and I bet you do a good job.
