Last night I was sighting in my ML for the upcoming season. For the first time I've learned the concept of shooters eye. I guess I was a little closer to the scope than normal.![]()

Eye relief . Hope it doesn't hurt too much.
I think we all do it at some time in our shooting career.
We've got an old boy in deer camp that'll creep the scope everytime on a shot at a deer. He'll shoot fine off the bench but gets too close when crunch time comes. You'll know immediatly when he comes back to camp if he got a shot or not.....

I can just see him coming back with the eye dotted.![]()
I call it a "Scope Kiss." The worst gun in the world for this (to me) is a 30/30. Ive shot a lot of different Cals but once while shooting and sighting in a 30/30 I got "Kissed" several times. I eventually had a swollen eye.
It dont feel to good....![]()
