Which shoots the best out of your gun?
Pellets shoot better and more consistently out of my T/C Black Diamond X/R.

Pellets shot great out of most of my guns and gave more velocity than loose, but the cost difference is just not worth the extra benefits. I shot pellets for 5 years and switched back to loose a couple years ago.
I prefer the pellets for hunting. They work well in speed loaders and if you need to reload they are quicker than trying to get loose powder down a barrel. If you drop one you can pick it up. Drop loose powder and you have to start all over again.
I've shot loose powder ever since I've used a muzzle loader. With the pros and cons of hunting with pellets, I decided to stick with powder. I just pre-measure a couple charges before the hunt....you can load them just as quick as the pellets....so I dont really see the benefits of the pellets myself.....![]()
All I have ever tried has been loose powder. Shoots fine out of my black diamond.
Loose powder you can customize your loads.
I use 777 pellets, used to use pyrodex pellets before than. I like them and they are quite accurate out of my Encore.

I'm a 777 pellet shooter.
My TC Omega works great with 777pellets
ive shot both triple 7 loose and triple 7 pellets .the pellots are a lot easier to handle and is worth the extra money ... just makes loading a lot easier
I've found this year that my gun shoots 83 grains the most accurately. Try that with the pellets.![]()

Loose.
I found out that loose powder shoots better than pellets in my .50cal T/C Thunderhawk.
I just recently purchased Jim Shockeys Gold powder to give that a shot. It is suppposed to burn cleaner.
