Default American Pioneer Powder, Pt II (PR Dead Centers)

Well, I will say this stuff MAY NOT shoot as "clean" as advertised, you know, that commercial showing that one feller shooting his 1000th shot, and hitting the bullseye. Awhile back I went out to sight my ML in, Traditions Buckhunter, 90gr APP FFG, 220gr PR Dead Centers. I decided to not clean between shots, after several shots, my bullets started impacting in various areas, had about a 5" group, at first thought my scope had gone south. I hadn't had time until last night to get back out, and this time I ran a dry patch between shots, my accuracy improved DRASTICALLY. 1st two shots my bullets were high right, but touching. Adjusted scope to the left, next shot was high, adjusted, next 3 shots were darn near touching, had maybe a 1/2" between them. All I had for a rest was a picnic table, and a sack of corn to rest the barrel on. Kinda disappointed in this as APP APPEARS to be advertised as just as accurate from shot 1 to shot 1000. BTW, when I was shooting before, I shot 11 shots, after 11 shots, the bullets got hard to load, and my accuracy went WAY south.......last night 6, swabbing between shots, and my accuracy was dead on.

Got a lb of the stuff, but have not tried it out yet. Guess I will find out soon how my black diamond likes it. Just hope the velocities are not too terribly much lower than they were with pyrodex.
