    Default Oklahoma hog hunt pics.

    Here are the pics from my hog hunt @ BowSafari in Coalgate, Ok. The hunt started out pretty bad, the owner was out of town at a wedding, and the hired hand who was supposed to meet us and show us around decided he was going home early. But after a few angry hunters phone calls the owner drove back the next day, he was really good guy and made thing right(knocked some money off of the price) all that being said I will definetly be back.

    I got them both on Sat eve 5/14/05. about 15 min. apart shot both @ about 10-15 yds, complete pass thru on both. I was shooting a Hoyt magnatec @ 65 lb. 29" draw, beeman ics 500 @ 26" w/ muzzy 100gr 3 blade. Both went less than 20 yds. There were 9 hunters in camp that weekend, 2 went home w/ nothing but a memory, 3 went home w/ 1 hog, and 4 of us went home w/ our limit of 2.
    If you get a chance i would give them a try, www.bowsafari.com. Also, if any of you OK boys are in that area and don't do your own processing, I would highly recomend P & P Processing in Coalgate,
    great guys w/a great turn around time, we dropped off 3 hogs sun. @ about 9 a.m. and they had them done by 1:00 p.m., I wish I lived closer so I could give them all my business.

    KSBOWHUNTER,,,great looking Hogs,, ,,glad to hear the owner took care of your little problem pronto,,,,thats what we like to hear when it comes to guided hunts,,we hear way too often how the hunter is just left hanging....so it's actually refreshing to hear he took care of ya all.....

    Drive through Coalgate all the time when headed to Ada. Small town...full of curves. Main street has like 4 "S" curves in it...

    Congrats on the hogs, KS. Might have to try and sneak down there for a hunt. Been wanting to shoot a hog or two lately.
