Latest bow season closing date???

Can someone tell me which state has the latest bow season ending date and what day it is?

Don't know for sure, but I know Ohio goes through January 31st.

I'm pretty sure I remember someone posting mid February dates last year. I think it was south.

Mississppi has two zones this year, The south zone closes 2/15/06. Th North zone closes 1/31/2006

Well I guess mine doesn't make it January 1st. I could hunt on new years if I wanted lol. Im gonna try that one these seasons.

In Connecticut, the 2 Deer Management Areas in the SW corner of the state are open until Jan 31, on private land.

As strange as this may seem to most of you Mississippi is doing this for the 1st time to extend the season in one area (a new zone) a little later for one reason. There is an area in southeastern Mississippi where the primary rut doesn't peak until the 1st week of February. That's when most of us are kicking back reminiscing about the rut and the 2nd estrus rut too. Since that new zone has a later closing date their season opener is 10/15/05 rather than the 10/1/05 date for the rest of us.

Arkansas changed there season a few years back there bow season doesn't close until Feb. 28

We have a second archery season thats also our ML season in December for a week.
It ends on the 15th...

I remember when I lived in Louisianait being sometime in January though....

A couple of years ago the Arkansas bow season ran from Oct. 1 - Feb. 28...since that time they have changed it to end Feb. 15...still a whole lot of huntin' time in there though.
