i agree with Horst . since you can draw and make a few shots now , you should be good to go for bow season.
remember its not how many arrows you shoot but if you are making good shots. i would rather you shoot 3 good shots than 10 shots with 7 of them bad.
take it easy , dont over do it and you will be in a stand this year.

man that is so cool. i've had to overcome some injuries in the past too, and i know what you're going through.
don't over do it, and you'll be hunting soon.
I would consider shooting 40lb bow with light arrows. It will do the job. The new Matthews Legacy has little to no shock in bow and is easy on joints and tendons. Good Luck!
