    my arrows hang over about an 1 inch.

    When I order them they are 30" from the tip of the nock to the tip of the insert.

    Not exactly sure. The last couple time I got new arrows, I just took an old one in with me. My arrow is a little less than an inch over my rest.

    center of nock groove to end of shaft,i usally leave an inch also
