Default Not much damage to the lease

Made my way up to the lease for the first time since the hurricane. Found a few trees down, alot of the acorns are gone. The box stand we had just put up only has the base and legs standing, guess it's rebuild time for that one. I have some friends that are farther east and they lost a lot of trees and had major damage to their camps. My camp is near Meadville, Ms. up interstate 55. I drove up 59 and it looks like a tornado went straight up the interstate I couldn't believe the trees snapped in two. I would hate to have a place along that route. I live right outside New Olreans and got lucky with no damage but I have good friends that lost everything, my house has been a refugee camp for three familys since the storm. The hardest part is seeing my friends deal with this and not being able to help anymore than I can.

Thanks. the worse off is my best friend and his wife, they lost both homes (one was the new one they had just built and furnished and the other was one his wife inherited and was renting out) and both their parents lost their's along with his brother and his wife. They showed up at my house with his truck and the clothes on their back. Very sad. The one good thing is he is starting to deal with it better and starting to talk about his "comeback" which is good to hear. I'll be ready to get in the woods so I can deal with my stress of all of this. To me there's no better therapy than being in the woods watching and listening to the woods wake up in the morning.

I sure hope it works out for everyone, what a rotten shame Good to hear your lease made it through though, we all need time in the woods to relax.
