    Default broadhead question

Has anyone ever tried crimson talons? I might try those next year, do they fly good?

I have heard nothing good about them personally. I have heard a lot of horror stories about blades breaking.
I also heard they were going to be redesigned for this year, but I don't know for sure.

I have a buddy that just switched to them from mechanicals because this is the only BH that would fly right from his Hoyt....

When we tested them on the range they flew great and were very accurate,,,,,John was right in saying that last years model the blades were very thin and flimsey almost like foil. Crimson did however thicken the blades for this years model, so we will have to wait see on the results....

Good luck with you season and hope it's a successful one.

Fixed blade broadheads fly well from a well-tuned (or lucky) bow and arrow combination.

$30 for a pack of 3 at Cabelas. I'll stick with my Wasp Boss Bullets at half that price.
