that happened to me a couple years ago. unfortunately i was in a tree stand at the time. i launched an arrow that missed like by 3 feet. i went home and checked on my target, same thing. checked my sight and my vertical loosened up, presumably from the cold. good tip

A little lock tight goes a long way! It really helps to keep things seated........

Ditto with jeramie! Use the kind you can heat up and loosen back up to make adjustments.

I check the bolts and pins before I even start shooting. It takes 5 minutes and it is part of the routine.

Check and tighten the bolt on your Team Realtree EZ Hanger while you are at it! My loosened up enough to wherte the bolt started to bend! A coupel a turns of the Gator Grip - good as new!
