My son bought me a dozen Beman 400 MFX arrows and a whisker biscut.
Are there any 85 grain field tips the same diameter as the small Beman shafts?

I believe the 9/32" will fit the Bemans.

Is 9/32 the smallest diameter field tips that you've seen?
Yep, think the smallest we have at the shop is in fact 9/32
Send me your address, I have a half dozen I can send him

Thanks,
My son has the 9/32 tips in his eastons but I think they're larger than these beman shafts.
I was wondering about shooting a bag target with them but I bought a layered target last year so I can use it.
I bought some saunders 9 /32 85 grain tips and the shoulder won't fit inside these beman mfx's,I think the bemans are supposed to have thicker wall shafts.
Anybody shooting the beman mfx's?
I found out last night that there is a 17/64 size FP, but I don't know if they come in 85gr sizes, I forgot to ask, these fit the Easton Axis arrows

The inner diameter should not be any different than any other arrow/insert. Otherwise you would have to shoot special made broadheads made to fit only the MFX's. I've had multiple I.D. field points in those arrows includign the 9/32" and didn't have any issues. That's a weird problem you are having. Maybe the chamfer wasn't put on the shaft when the HIT inserts were put in.

I twisted them in finally.
I did notice a problem with my thunderheads and these arrows but my son found some collars that will seat them.
