Default Cant get my Muzzy to fly true.

Shot last night at my broadhead target. I don't know if its the muzzy's throwing me off, or its just because I havent shot in a couple of days. I was aiming my 20 yrd pin right at the vitals on the target and missed where I was shooting. it was about 5 inches to the left.

If I can't get them to fly true, I might go with the Shuttle Lock broadheads, or Rage Broadheads.

You need to paper tune your bow. If that doesnt work then you need to make sure your shooting the right arrow. I had the same problem and I end up shooting a slightly longer arrow than I was before and it had a stiffer spine. Good luck. My pro shop cut a bunch of arrows and worked with me for 2 hours to figure my problem out. Find a good pro shop in your area.

I used these arrows last year, and used the broadheads as well. Just something isnt right.

You need to shoot your field tips.If they shoot the same as your broadheads just try moving your sights. If they are shooting on target you need to paper tune. Its not the muzzys.Good luck Mil.

I had that problem with just a couple of my Muzzy broadheads. When I spin tested them I found that I had a slight wobble in the arrow broadhead combination. I switched arrows and spin tested a second time and they were true. Whether it was the arrow did not have the insert in straight or the broadhead wasn't seating right I don't know. Switching arrows solved my problem though. Good luck with getting the broadheads to fly true.

I found out last year, by replacing the blades in my Muzzy's it made some of them wobble. Truing the end of the insert might help too, but then you will need a G5 A.S.D. tool.

I noticed that my arrows flew truer when I aligned my muzzy blades with the fletching of the arrow.

Broadheads when alligned properly (no wobble when spun) should group right with your field tips when a bow is properly tuned. Many things could have changed with your setup from last year. It's easy for thiings to get bumped. The main culprit for a bow getting out of tune is simply string stretch. There are many quality aftermarket string makers that make strings of much better quality than what comes on most bows from the factory.

What broadheads are great for is magnifying flaws in your tuning. If you've paper tuned your bow and are fairly confident it is shooting bullet holes then you just need to continue to tweek in your tuning. If you say the setup shot well at one time just try moving your rest in toward the riser a bit and see if that helps.

Downloading the arrow tuning guide from EastonArchery.com has always been a big help to me.

Yep....I've been a devout Muzzy shooter (especially the 4-blades) since they came out........if they do not group with your field points, it is most likely a bow-tune problem, but could also be a mis-aligned insert problem........seeing as it is more than one arrow though, i would lean to a tuning problem......most likely a left-right arrow rest problem, that would be easily identified with a paper-tune test.....
