    Default Homemade Lighted Nock

I cant remember who posted the video of how to make these but it worked great so THANK YOU!!!

So this picture is my arrow.

    The nock light on.

My 30 yard deer target. You can just see the red dot in the middle.

30 yard deer target again just zoomed a little this time

It was really cool to watch the red light fly through the air.

That is cool Todd. Kind of wonder if the homemade knocks could fit in a small diameter carbon.

I had some easton axis arrows, was going to make some for them, but the light wouldn't fit into the nock due to the small diameter

Hey Todd, what did yo udo to hold your lights in the nock? I tried the glue method, but couldn't get em to stick, might not have left em long enough, or may need a different type (just used the bohning fletch tite platinum that i use on my fletchings). I ended up having to use the pin method, still works, just wish i could have just glued them in.

I posted the youtube video awhile back that I found on another site. Thought it was better to see it first hand than to explain it. Hutchies has posted about it as well. Once you see how its so simple and you want to make more!! For the price of 1 boughten Lumenok you can make 3 of these easily. Plus it makes a great project outside of archery season.

I got a few made up and mine are green. I wanted to be different and Lumenok was not going to get into making colors. Red/orange showed up better on video they told me but I like how my green ones look in flight!

All you have to do is buy the green bobber light.

Thanks for sharing those pictures, great job!!

As for gluing the nock and light together I used super glue.

As gluing the light to the "stopper" nock I used some masking tape around the bobber light so it would not be any gap in the end of the light and the "stopper" nock. Then glued it really good with fletch tite.

I like the green light idea.
I guess I am now going to have to hunt for "green" bobber lights. So far the only color I have found is red.

Guess I might try experimenting with some of my wifes arrows. Dont think I will be changing my arrows with my setup any time soon.
