    Default Arrow Fletching

I just started fletching with the Bohning Jig (plastic version). I was having trouble lining up the vanes to match the angle of the vane holder so I called Bohning and they said I should replace all three vanes and they recommended that when I need to replace a vane, do all three. What do you all do? Why did I have that problem?

For that particular Jig this may be true, that you will need to replace all 3 vanes to get correct spacing and alignment.

I use the single Jo-Jan Jig and have NO problems replacing single fletchings ..

That's what I was thinking may be the case. Perhaps after I get the hang of it I'll upgrade to something better and more universal. Thanks!

When you decide it's time to upgrade, this is the JIG to buy. There's NONE better ..

I have been making arrows for a few years using Bitzenburger.. no problem with repeating angle or spacing once you install all of them.. You will find it hard to match factory glued fletching.. Fletching arrows is a lot of fun.. patience is the key..

    Enjoy the moment....

Very true, I have two and replacing a single vane no issue. After a good day at the range, I usually end up replacing single vanes on half my arrows.
(Again, after a good day lol)
