    Default Are You A Loner?

When it comes to bowhunting, do you prefer to go out alone, or hunt with a few other guys/gals?

Always used to hunt alone when in High School and just out. Then my brother got more into bowhunting instead of duck hunting. Now it is usually the two of us, but I normally am limited to the weekends. He gets to hunt after work everyday. The deer are pretty smart by the time the rut rolls around with that kind of pressure.

I usually go at it alone unless I'm hunting in La. Then I've got my cousins that usually go with me. We'll see how the new lease in Fl. pans out, might find some good people to hunt with. It's always good to get another perspective and you never know what you may learn from someone else..

I'd rather have it and never have to use it, than to need it and not have it!!

I hunt on a 360 acre farm and hunt all alone, with exception when my dad goes.He has no legs and hunts one spot, even though he cant go where I go its still a great feeling being in the woods with him.

I enjoy sharing time in the wild with others. I like to show them the things I see. Being a sport of close encounters bowhunting is an escape for me.
With so much that can go wrong I don't like to introduce another element to the equation. Bowhuntings success' and failures keeps me in touch with reality of the hunt.

95% of the time I bow hunt alone.
I take my kids sometimes and I have been bow hunting with a friend a couple times on his property last season.

As my kids get older I imagine I'll be taking them more, but I have a couple more years yet.

I'm a loner during bow season except on the weekends... then my dad is with me. Hard to be a loner once gun season rolls around.
I figure God only gave me so many sunrises, I might as well not miss one.

I'm a loner.................Most guys that go with me once decide they don't want to work that hard to get a deer cause it don't bother me to walk a lonnnnnng way in.

I'm a loner. I like it that way. My bow hunting is my meditation time.

Unfortunately I hunt alone. This economy has driven the last of my bowhunting buddies out,, I miss them,, I'll never forget the times we used to have, deer or no deer..
Hunt hard, hunt safe, have fun...
