Default Mathews Monster vs. Bowtech Captain

A friend of mine is looking into getting a Mathews Monster or Bowtech Captain. There are things he likes about each of the bows. He has also owned both these brands before, and really likes them both. He is not sure how forgiving and smooth the monster will be, due to it's short brace height. Is there any advice you guys could give me so I can help him out or is there anyone who has shot or owns these bows? Thanks.

i have the 80 lb monster and it is aggressive,, but i have no trouble grouping arrows like size of baseballs at 50 yards with my broadheads at a pretty darn good velocity,, umm i've never shot the other bow?? also with my monster my pin from 10 yards to 30 yards doesn't move, and my arrow is dead center regardless from where im at in that distance which takes a lot out of the guessing game when most of your shots are within 25 yards.. hope this helps
