The little bear was good fun for the hounds and us...I'm very happy with my 7 month old Walker, she did good for her first actual hunt. She wasn't excited as the other hounds but she made it to the tree with the other hounds.

The entire time hiking in I kept saying to myself i hope she's at the tree and not gone elsewhere! I wanted to stop a few times and turn my Tracker on but keep going til i got there and saw her with the other hounds. Man was i happy I thought about shooting the bear so she could get a good chew and smell but decided not to since it was so SMALL

Good video. A lot of hounds so i could not pick her out. But she will learn quick that a bunch of hounds like that makes the old saying " does a bear _____ in the woods."

One question just out of plain curiosity. Say you shoot the bear, do the dogs get out of the way on the fall? Just a thought I had.
