    Keep your eyes on this folks !!!

    This has the potential to be very, very dangerous to hunters and anglers and, indeed, anyone who may make use of animals, fowl, and fish !!

    From S-213:
    "445.1 (1) Every one commits an offence who

    (d) promotes, arranges, conducts, assists in, receives money for or takes part in any meeting, competition, exhibition, pastime, practice, display or event at or in the course of which captive birds are liberated by hand, trap, contrivance or any other means for the purpose of being shot when they are liberated; or..."

    C-373 has a similar Article.

    WOW ..that would put all the pheasant farms, etc out of business It would even prevent upland game birds from being released to re-populate certain areas, by Rod and gun clubs, etc.

    The whole bill is utterly ridiculous. It would make it an offence for farmers to kill cattle of any kind. It would make it illegal to hunt, and it would make it illegal, if you could hunt, to wound an animal, in any way shape or form.
    I've never heard anything so ridiculous.
