Wanting to buy deer capes.

I am looking to buy two fresh, preferably 3 1/2 yea old, buck capes, to mount two deer. I was hoping that they would be long haired from the north in the winter or anytime. I will buy them tanned or untanned, jut please pm me with any info you have on ANY buck capes or anything. Thanks a lot gusy the help is appreciated.

Just a suggestion.... Head to a local processor. We have a couple around here and they literally throw away capes everyday. I dropped of a doe a couple of weeks ago and they had a rubber made 55 gallon can full of capes. Great place to start man!

Ok. I am just keeping all options open and I have contacted quite a few poeple to see what they have. We really don't have a processor around here jeremy, not one hat skins out deer for people and stuff. but maybe I am missing one. I will do some checking around thanks again!

Check with your local butcher shops. Most of our butcher shops process deer during the hunting season. There are very few that dont.

I only know of one place that is an actual Deer Processor.

I Bet you have someone closer to you then you think (processing deer). I looked up a number of a processor not to far from you. I got this from Yellow pages.com. Hopefully it will help. Let me know how it works out.
