i have a new savage 17hmr in sythetic stock and bull barrle in stailess if your interested it comes with a simmons 3x9x40 deer hunter scope and is in perfect shape only shot 25 rounds thru it to get it sighted in and would make an excellent shooter for a kid. i would trade you that for the 243 if your interested
