I don't know, I'm poor. I use sent-a-way. For $10 I get enough shampoo/soap, and cover scent for the year. Very rarely do I get winded. jf

Scent-lok![]()
Aren't they both about the same?
Don't they both use activated charcoal?
Scent lok has the patent on charcoal suits. So even if you buy a scent blocker( which are nice) Scent lok gets royalties. I'm partical to Scentlok since I know the owners and besides being good family people they have a good product.

I use scent-lok too. i have pants shitr, and a fleece balaclava.
I bought scentlok mostly because it was a little cheaper. I've had it 2 years and haven't washed it yet, lol. I will have to this week because the buck I shot with muzzleloader bled all over the pants when I lifted him onto my ATV. I've read conflicting reports that it might not work but my experience is that it works and works really well. I've got the pants, mock turtleneck, jacket and headcover. Buy some, you'll like it.
Never tried either.
When I believed in it, I bough Scent Blocker, but only because thats what my local Walmart stocked.
I just do not feel it works like advertized. I know activated carbon WILL adsorb scent molecules, just to effectively to make the suit more then a one time use item,if that!
I know it can not be "reactivated" in less then 1700*F, which last time I checked, my home dryer can not do. My home oven can't do that, and if it could, would burn up any materials it (carbon) is in anyways.
Now those are facts that even the companies can not disprove. The properties of activate carbon most of us do not know, that is....
JMO but I see just as many deer, at close range, with the wind in there favor, with or without scent blocker clothing...
As a matter of fact, I shoot more deer without it now that I think about it...
I have the old light brown under garment style that I use more as PJ's then anything... LOL![]()
Very comfy and warm.![]()
I use then as just another layer on really really cold days since its sort of baggy and I can get a bunch of stuff under it.
I have not washed or dryed it in 4 years. Mother nature cleans and dries all my hunting clothes and none of them has lost 1 oz of color because of it.
Blood or mud is nothing more then camo to me... LOL![]()

I use the Scent lok product... it's in my winter coat and bibs...
I have both and I suggest you save your money. It's all hype. Buy a better scope, more ammo, or something else that is useful. Buy some scent neutralizing spray and you are much better off.
I have a couple sets of those (new this year) also. Maybe the deer won't smell the shooters BO, but they can still smell other scents from vehicle, eating, drinking, smoking, etc. I use the lightweight tech silk layer stuff. I could not see getting outer garments made from the stuff. Put it next to your skin where you sweat. I still stick by the idea of the best thing is to use scent eliminating spray and hunt up wind.
Well, I have always showered with scent free soap, used scent free deodorant, scent killer, the whole 9 yards. When I use to wear regular camo clothes I was getting nabbed a lot by deer I never even saw. Basically any deer that got downwind of me smelled me. Since buying my Scent Lok suit (jacket, pants, gloves, hat & face mask along with rubber boots) I have been winded by ZERO deer. I have had many deer, along with P&Y caliber bucks downwind of me and they never even knew I was there. If it's all a hoax, then I guess that means the deer in my hunting areas have learned to like my smell and only run from all the other hunters.
Can't you reactivate Scent-Blocker with their Carbon Blast or Laundry Detergent etc
Never used either, but I think I'd look at ScentBlocker first.

No, its only soap.
To fully re-activate the carbon in the clothing, you must heat it to approximately 800 °C or 1,472 °F, in a controlled atmosphere of low oxygen concentration to reduce the possibility of combustion. This is scientific fact and is even stated in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Engineering and Design, Adsorption Design Guide, Design Guide No. DG1110-1-2, if you’d like to check it out for yourself.
Throwing worn garments in a common household clothes dryer for 20 to 30 minutes to re-active the carbon is pretty bogus. The average temperature generated by a clothes dryer is under 200°F. The rest of the clothing will char before the carbon is rejuvenated.
