    Default Life-time Hunting license

I haven't hunted any other states and I was wondering what other states offered lifetime hunting licenses and what all they included.

Here in Oklahoma for $400 you are covered for a license (of course), all deer tags (all seasons, all tags), and all turkey tags. The only thing left to buy is a federal duck stamp and trappers license. You can buy a combination hunting/fishing for $525.

I bought the lifetime hunting around 4-5 years ago so it has already paid for itself. We figured it up and it pays for itself in around 3-years. The only obligation is that when you take an animal you must tag it with your name, address, and telephone number and then check it in.

    Good Huntin,
    Jeramie

I got the exact same thing as gobblerstopper. At the same price too.lol. I'm glad we got it, I'm sure I'd end up getting one someday anyway, and I like the idea of it being 300 dollars cheaper.lol.

I wish Wisconsin had a Lifetime Hunting License. The closest thing we have is a Patron, $110, it only covers one year though.

Indiana has a Lifetime Hunting license also. For Comprehensive fishing it is $427.50. For hunting it is $855.00. I bought mine before the prices went up this year and got both for $708.00. The Comprehensive license covers everything.

    IN- $1154.25 hunting and fishing

I got the comprehensive hunting and fishing also, bought right before the prices went up. Dad got the comprehensive hunting at the same time.

    VT's is a joke.
I mean unless you buy it for your infant it is basically the same excact price as if you were to buy them year by year. Buying as an adult that is.
Its a great deal if you buy it for kids under 3 years old.

Not to mention it just covers your hunting (rifle 1 buck tag and 1 bear tag) and fishing licence, you still need to buy your bow and ML tags yearly.
    Not worth it IMO....

My lifetime license was my land purchase. So long as I hunt my own property no license is needed. However some years in the past I have hunted up the road on the inlaws land and also get my license if I hunt my neighbors land, you can get an annual sportsman license here I think for $101.

To purchase a lifetime license for my age is a bit steep in Tennessee, like $1200. The breakdown here is by age. If it was only $400 I would have mine in a heartbeat.

Lifetime license costs by age in TN.
Under 3 years of age $200
    3-6 years of age $400
    7-12 years of age $600
    13-50 years of age $1200
    51-64 years of age $700
    65 and over $200

WI will never offer a "lifetime" lisence", they would loose way too much money.

My father is finally at the retirement age so it will be worth the price for this type of license.
All of us kids are going to get together and purchase this for him as a gift.

Maine offers the lifetime licenses and it depends on your age as to how much it costs. They offer them from ages 0 - 15 years old and the most expensive for hunting and fishing is $500 for the 6-15 year olds. If you are between 16 and 64, they don't offer the lifetime license.

I think it is a good deal. The way the individual license costs keep rising I don't see how you can figure you would lose money on the deal! Right now a combo hunting/fishing license for a Maine resident is $39 plus $2 agency fee. I don't have my license from last year on me, but I think it has gone up $3 in the last year. If you figure the prices will continue to rise like that, or more, it sounds pretty good to me.

I bought a CHF (Comp. hunt/fish) is 1987. At the time is was $487 for both hunting and fishing, so I've been like a fat guy at an all-you-can-eat buffet!
