Put a bullet/arrow through if you see it. Definate shooter.
that is for sure a shooter. I wish i had the same problem you do. To shoot or not to shoot. LOL
SHOOT....no question about it.
I've never shot a buck that big in many years of hunting.
We haven't reached the point in our QDM that a buck like that is not a shooter. It's still a fairly young deer, but still it's a shooter here.
I'd never hear the end of it if I didn't shoot.
If you can guarantee he will be safe to make it until next year then I would let him grow b/c just the fact that your even asking this question must mean you have some bruisers running around on your land. If I saw that deer around here it would get smoked. There are people that will pay a few grand to shoot something like that
a little skinny let him grow!
i would definately have to take a shot at that buck. Thats a nice buck in anybody's book and definately a wall hanger. I'd take a shot.
fling goes the arrow!
uh....duh....
BANG! Down deer.
I guess it's up to the guy looking through the sights. Personaly I've never hunted anywhere that a low 140" buck isn't a shooter. G L
Putem down I sure would with a rack like that and its a buck its gotta go!!!!
he might gain some more mass next year!!!
TAKE HIM OUT!
Bucks of that caliber are common here in Montana, although many local hunters have never seen one that size. During archery season he would be tough to pass up, but unless I needed the meat, the thought of seeing a bigger later would be enough to let him walk. He is a young deer with a lot of potential. In most areas of the country this question is a no brain-er. Definitely a trophy.
