    I'd take the ml out the the field. How far in the woods were the rubs?? If only about 20 yards, I'd set-up about 5 yards outside of the field and hunt there. Good luck.

    I think Wildcat nailed it.....the field edge scrapes and rubs are most likely being made in the evenings......I've got one set-up that's almost identical to what you've described, and I hunt it just like WC said........I hit the woods stand before daybreak, sitting there till after noon and then move to the field edge stand for the evening hunt.......
