    Default poachers driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we got a older gentleman who has been keeping an eye on our leased property in md., & it seems that there is 2 or 3 guys poaching it!!!!!!!! the season isn't open yet, but they are up there helping theirself to the deer!!!!! he saw them today but they ran from him (of coarse),& they don't park anywhere around, so i think they are being dropped off & being picked up, but they are doing this at odd hours & no one has the time to sit there 24/7 to catch them. of coarse, fish and game said you have to catch them for us to do anything!!!!!!!! is'nt that their job??????!!!!!!! they better hope the law gets them before i do!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NOT PUT UP WITH THAT CRAP!!!!!!!

if I caught somebody poaching on my land they would be wishing they had the game warden standing there!!!! That is all Ill say but sorry to hear that and I hope you catch them.... It really has gotta suck when you work and prepare all summer long to get ready for hunting season and then some danged idiot thinks he rules the place and is going to go in and kill your deer anyways.... Set up a trail camera there and then you will have proof....-tim

[/ QUOTE ]....hunting in maryland is getting very $$$ around here anymore...seems that alot of lawyers, doctors, & "big money" people are leasing most of the prime spots, & they are paying BIG DOLLARS!!!! like one farm i called about over the summer down on the eastern shore, 150ac. for $10,000.!!!!!!!! too rich for me!!!!!! i got lucky, i have less than 80ac. & im paying $1000......(friend of the family).....its getting hard to find a place anymore, so im always looking....

Hope they get caught. Got some people slipping in around here on one of the properties back behind us year after year. Wish the wildlife people had enough resources to be able to afford to sit and watch for them, but even then, the landowner has to prosecute.
