    I do the same thing and clear paths for the deer to walk. You can redirect deer in heavy brush areas, right where you want them to travel.
    I have also noticed how much they like fresh dug up dirt. They actually seem to play in it. I don't know what the attraction is, but I know they like it. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

    Deer do the same thing here. We pulled a big tree down from a hill a couple years ago, left a pretty big dirt path. Within three days, it was covered in fresh tracks.

    Deer love fresh dirt.They are attracked to the minerals.I use Fresh Earth cover scent wafers made by H.S. Scents.I drop one in my big zipp lock bag with my cloths.Try it, it works for me.

    I use the fresh earth wafers also, never been attcked by a deer yet, but I do believe they help cover your scent.
