How true!! I got a few of the bush country I hunt up north and I tell you it is nice to know that 1/2 mileahead is a swampy area ect, not only helps locate animals[if you can read it properly, and know the animals habits and feeding] but saves valuable time spent hiking in areas that have no good areas for hideouts!! Great tip!!

Good tip and so true.It can put you right in prime deer area fast.

Another good tip Jim ...I also buy aerial photos of my area in conjuction with the topo's.
It gives you a birds eye view of your area and you can see clearings, different types of bush, houses, etc, etc. A really good aid in hunting your grounds and finding those hot spots. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]
