yes, I know how that goes, My uncle bowhunted for a week without any shooter deer, so he gave up and then i shot my 8 point the day he went somewhere else, out of the same stand too.

Good tip...I have hunted some farms that either border the town or are not too far from town for the last 10 to 26 years
They are all less than 10 minutes from the driveway.
The thing I have noticed over the years is no matter how much scouting you do on the property each and every year....come rut.....you see deer you have never, ever, seen before on the property.
So..yeh...good post...hang in there and make it pay.
one of my favourite sayings for hunting is "Stick and stay...make er pay"
