Limit changes

We can have 6 bucks total. 2 in each season but we have to get 2 does after we get the first buck before we can get the second buck.

I gusee i can shoot 2 bucks, I got a buck tag w/my patrons licence and also in the patrons, i got a hunters choice for gun. And t-zone tags.

Here your only allowed 2 bucks total for the year but you can shoot as many does as you want.

ODNR reduced our limit too. we went from 3 deer in my county to 2. you're only allowed one buck in Ohio, and it's been that way i think forever.

the limit won't hurt me at all, i'll still get my 1 or 2 and hopefully i'll see a buck big enough to harvest this year. i have trouble consuming more than 2 deer per year so i don't shoot any more than that anyway.

Here I can take 1 either sex with shotgun, 1 either sex with black powder and 2 doe and 2 either sex with the bow.

We are allowed 1 buck per gun season.

Mississippi used to be 5 bucks (any visible antlers) and does were only legal during bow and muzzleloader season. We were only allowed to harvest doe during rifle season if you had a special doe tag. Some areas had a special 2 to 3 day doe season depending on the area.

About 6 years ago they changed the limit to be 3 bucks (must be 4 point or better) and 5 doe during any season except we were allowed 2 additional doe during bow season. This was done to better balance the deer herd and to try to protect most of the 1 year old bucks. Overall the antler restriction has shown a great improvement in the overal quality of bucks harvested.

Last year the limits were changed again. The buck harvest quota is still 3 with the same antler restrictions but we are only allowed 3 doe now except we can still harvest 2 additional doe during bow season.

There's been a lot of talk about changing the antler restriction again. The concern is due to the fact that we are harvesting our better young bucks with greater potential and culling our lesser quality young bucks to live another year. I understand and share the same concerns that the biologist have expressed about this issue. We'll see how this develops in the future.

In MO you can take 2 bucks and I think 6 does with your bow. Rifle you can take 1 anydeer and 2 does.

Our limit got lowered last fall. But only 4 more seasons with only 1 buck, and we are going back up to 2 a year. So I've heard. I saw somewhere that they are only doin the 1 buck a year hting for 5 years, then goin back to 2. We can also shoot 7 does.
