Got one I hunt along the river, where the woods coming off the hills are cut down to a really narrow strip. Guess that is the only funnel type area I hunt.

MY FAVORITE SPOT IS IN A FUNNEL.I HAVE ABOUT 5 RIDGES COME TOGETHER IN A BOTTOM AREA.IT'S LOADED WITH RUBS AND SCRAPES EVERY NOVEMBER AND ALWAYS PRODUCES DEER.EVEN HAS A FEW OAK TREES WITH PLENTY OF ACORNS.
This Friday I'll be hunting a funnel along a river. There is a river crossing at one end and the woods/goldenrod widen to 60yds. The narrow crossing point is about 25yds.
I can only shoot does now.
Most of the funnels in my area are on other properties, however, I try to hunt two where multiple fields come together. The deer don't use it much until after late November, but its a good bet during/after the rut.
My favorite spot to hunt is a funnel. The woods are about 70 yards wide and run east-west. On the north side are fields, on the south a reaally wet swamp. The deer will move in the swamp, but if there isn't a lot of pressure they definately prefer to travel theough the woods.
