My Dad and I are wanting to feed a few deer this winter, and instead of just throwing corn down were looking for feeder Ideas. Any Suggestions?
Thanks,
Laura

one of the ways we do it here is to get a 4' piece of 8" or 6" pvc pipe (you can get it free from any construction site), now you can do this two ways. cut one end on a 45 angle & put that end on the ground, & tie it up against a tree with rope or a chain through it if you have to worry about thieves just put a 5gal. bucket over the top end to keep everything out of the top of it. it also is used to fill it up with. or instead of cutting it on an angle some guys i know put on a 90 degree bend with a reducer down to 2"........works on gravity....

Use a drum, like 50 gallons or so, and cut a hole in the bottom, or one on each side depending on how long u want the feed to last. They last a long time before needing refilling, and by the diameter of the hole you can determine how much feed comes out, works great for us.
