I need some opinions on how to set up for the best possible way to kill a deer in my particular area. 1st off, im in south Georgia, and deer dont just walk out in the open come 9 oclock. i have a blind that im using to hunt a blueberry field where i know (with my camera as my witness) that there are more than 10 deer in this area. From where ive been hunting at, there is a sand ridge to my right, and thats where the deer are at (bedding, scraping, and such). The sand ridge is off limits for me to hunt, although i do have permission to pursue a shot deer into there. behind me is a pond, but its too steep for deer to water from. Straight in front of me and all to my left is small blueberry bushes (about 4 feet tall). As of now, i feed the deer with percimmons and corn along a small 6 to 8 yard wide strip seperating the blueberries and the sand ridge. Does any one have any suggestions? Should i set the blind just inside the blueberry bushes and cover it up or what, because ive had it facing the percimmons setting right in front of the pond and i havent seen any shootable deer from it yet, but i can sometimes hear them walking in the sandridge to my right.
