My girlfriends first deer!!!

Well the goal of my hunting season was met last sunday morning when she bagged this 130 lb doe on our trip to arkansas. She put an excellent placed shot on her w/ a .243 considering this was the first time ever shooting a rifle. I was more nervous than her before she shot and she had to tell me to calm down. It was a great feeling to get someone else to kill their first deer and see the joy in their eyes.......i was and am really proud of her. We saw 2 good bucks also on the trip that i could have easily shot but i tried my best to get her into position but things just didn't work out, and i told her thats why they call it hunting and not killing. She is hooked for life now. She got a brand new browning 7mm-08 when returned home!! i'm goin back in a couple weeks and it'll be my turn. Here's the pics enjoy!!!


And yes i got the honors of doing this!!!!!! i told her it was payback for all the times she argued w/ me!!!


p.s. SHE EVEN HELPED CLEAN IT. I WALKED AWAY FOR A FEW MINUTES AND WHEN I CAME BACK SHE HAD THE KNIFE IN HAND AND WAS GETTIN AT IT!!!

yea she was a good sport. i wasnt expecting to get to bloody her but she asked for it bc she said it was part of the hunting tradition so i GLADY did the honors
