Bow only WMA's in Mississippi

Does anyone know of any WMA's in mississippi that are bow only. I live in central Miss. with my uncle we both live hunting but public land can be dangerous (rifle hunting idiots). I really dont want to get shot plus the deer get bigger on bow only WMA's. Any help will be appreciated.

talk to your local game warden they can probaly point you in the right dirrection

try contacting the army corps of engeneers i know they have a hunt at arkabutala lake...i'll be there all next week for the disabled hunt...it's great and yes there are some monsters there...

I know of an awsome bowhunting only wma. I lived in starkville and worked in columbus and me and a buddy of mine hunted this place near columbus on the tombiggbee river. we hunted almost every weekend and i never saw another hunter. It's called towsend creek. there is a small tract of land around the campsite that is bow only. the only reason i am telling you this is because i have move further south and no longer can hunt up there (incidently my buddy moved south too) awsome place to hunt. i'll post a link to the corps website that has a map and if you'll email me i'll send you an arial photo of the place. good luck.

First, I understand exactly what you are saying about the rifle idiots. I rifle hunt a little, but i get sick of hearing all of the shooting. Second, to answer your question, I dont know of any around here. what area are you from?
