Default Seeing Deer - No Shots

This land that I got permission to hunt in Illinois seems to be very good. It is only about 35 acreas but I see deer almost every time out. Problem is that it is so small, that I can't walk in without spooking them and property is so small that they usually take off to another property.

I jumped a buck on Sunday and that was the last of the deer I saw. No matter which route I take, I spook a deer. Good problems to have, eh?

    I'll keep you all posted.

Default Re: Seeing Deer - No Shots

Sounds like how it used to be around here up to a few years ago. Seemed like I could not walk to any stand without bumping deer along the way especially in the mornings.
