Default saw a good buck...what would you have done...

well folks went in to the spot where i had seen o'le big boy on saturday to try and take him...well watched a bunch of tree rats and about 8:00 i saw movement across the joining property pasture..... looked thru the tight brush and here comes a buck....man my heart started racing so fast but i gained control of my self...man just thinking it might have been the big one was so cool...well it got within 80 yards of me and i could tell it wasn't big boy...it was a nice mature buck tho...it had one big long spike sticking streight up which had 3 little stickers on it and the other side was a desent 4 point which he would have been an 8 point eastern count...well i watched him until he disapered in the tight brush...which i did at one time think of taking him but he never come across the property line he made it to the fence boundry so i didn't take him...and taking him would have filled my buck tags for the 06 hunting season and i really want to try and get the big one or one good size decent rack this year.....i will be back this evening....

If he was on a property you did not have permission on Tom, you know my answer. If the deer made it onto my property, probably still would hold out knowing I already have meat in the freezer and that there is a better buck still around.
